Kaspersky AVP. Its far more NOT enough. You need a firewall, and antitrojan, antispyware systems. Have you checked out some of my discussions here? [moreinfo]

mine is win anti virus pro 2006.i dont really know the differences with other brands actually.i had my friend installed it for me because he use it too. [ikinta]

Isuggest to change, the avg is one of the best actually. It is slim, fast and free!!! The Symantec is not so good as you think and it could make very slow your Operative System. Let me know if you think changing it. If you need help I'm here for you ;) [ready2earn]
I have try Mcafee, Norton, AFG (free edition), Avast (free edition). The only one which could remove all the trojan on my computer was Mcafee. So I decided to install Mcafee and I think it's the best! [takayukibru]

I use the latest version of McAfee........ I have used Nortion, Avg & McAfee....... Nortion gives better protection. It has file recovery features....... But it takes a lot of your system resources....... Avg too takes more resources than McAfee........ AVG may be unable to detect all viruses........ McAfee protects your system without slowing down the system performance, compared to the other two mentioned above......... I have been using McAfee for a long time now. ......So far I didnt have any problems with McAfee.....Mcafee just rocksss ....... [9885773673]

I used to use symantec av but am now a loyal avast antivirus user, besides avast is free and powerful, also uses less resources on your computer. [kstanley7]

I've been using Norton Anti-Virus for years and they have lived up to their reputation of delivering a virus free PC for me. Updates are always available. [jdfaustino]

Well I use macfee v9.0 its pretty good to use. I've an experience of using avast anti virus which is so good in processing virus and let the pc run fast :-) [Bbilal]

I have got Avast Antivirus Home edition. It is free and very good. You can get updates of it 2-3 times a week. [krishkris]

I have used 4/5 I think Mcafee is best but it eats computer speed speically very lazy start up thats why I left it, from at least 3+ years I am using norton corporate (now version 10) its the best balancing antivirus, will not slow up, and at the same time do good work, However for a suggestion I will say: if u want security more than the speed u use mcafee and if vice versa then use norton corporate [usman400]

i have also installed symantec(corporate edition) [lavin12]

well i have 3 antivirus set-up on my pc...but i didnt install anyone of them yet [ricky1209]

One of my computers has AVG free installed and the newest computer has Norton Antivirus, personally I prefer AVG, because Norton messes with your system and dosn't allow a lot of stuff to run on the computer. [wildguy2]

I use norton for my pc. though its practically useless at catching new viruses. I hav monitor my pc myself. But its difficult for most viruses to breach my security measures. Even if one sneaks in, it gets a noce battering from me. [smrohitsm]

what is advantages of mcafee and kaspersky [yamahaguy78]

i have got mcaffe installed [radesh]

i use kaspersky... its nice... [dihearted]

i have Norton Anti Virous 2005,and it is really great anti virous,it have many many features first and most of its feature is it not too heavey while loading your windows, but it is heavey while you scanning also you can register for it for free for atleast 5 months, which is also grea, when you install it just update it and than scane your Pc with it and see the difference i found it really good for me caz i have only 256 DDR ram. so i dont need heavy softwares to run on to my pc,but if you have 512 + ram than go for Norton Anti Virous 2006 because it is more better than 2005 but is really heavy software. Best of luck [goharayub]

well i have McAfee enterprise 10.0 [WaxXII]

ohhh!!! hii to all.. best antivirus i used ever is AVG-Antivirus... its more secure to use AVG although i also used Norton and Mcafee and many more.. but now i am satisfied with the AVG antivirus... its absolutely free and the updates are quite easily updated without so much of time... and it gives the high performance for my computer. Many a times when i am sharing something in my LAN,,, AVG immediately detects which type of virus is this and completey wipe out the viruses... So i would like to prefer AVG antivirus instead of any other antivirus. Happy Mylotting!!! [hackingrules]

When I was still using Windows, I am using McAfee for my virus protection needs. It detects almost all viruses, and with heuristics technology, it also detects virus-like activities, making your computer virtually virus-free. It is also light on resources, you won't even notice that it is running in the background protecting your computer all the way through. I also tried Norton, but sad to say it didn't pass my taste. It is a resource hog, and it slowed my computer like a turtle. But it is also good in detecting viruses! If Norton wasn't a resource hog, then it will be on my recommended list regarding anti-viruses for the Windows platform. But then again I switched to Linux a few years ago. Why!? I was tired with all the Windows bug that resurfaces with every release of Windows. Not to mention that almost all viruses and spywares are "designed" to work only with Windows-based computers. With Linux, I don't have to worry about viruses, hence no need to install any anti-virus software.:) [ryanrudolf]

I have AVG and AVAST!!!!!!!!!!!! [fashion19]

hello humaaaa, you have started a nice discussion.antivirus software are a real necessity now a days as we are accessing internet all the time and there is 100% risk to get the pc infected.and moreover new viruses are being created day by day.so our computer's security and privacy is a must. for this i use zone alarm security suite.it comes with a package of antivirus, antispyware and firewall.so i don't need any other software. but being more security concern i have installed spybot search and destroy antispyware program. [exclusively_rinku]

McAfee one of the best Anti virus in Industry. Symentec also but we used here McAfee [arjaeuse]

It is good in use u can see its features bellow !! AVG Free is the most popular free solution available at no cost to home users and provides the high level of detection capability that millions of users around the world trust to protect their computers. * Easy to use, low system resources * Automatic update functionality * Real-time protection as files are opened and programs are run * AVG's Virus Vault for the safe handling of infected files [umair2hot]

Mcafee and Norton provide a similar level of protection against unwanted threats and are similarly priced, but there are a couple of significant differences. If you want additional features, McAfee Internet Security Suite 9.0 provides just about everything you need, especially if parental controls are a major concern. However, installation was needlessly complex – many of these features have to be downloaded – and for performance and core components, Norton Internet Security 2007 is much more effective. [hiddenidentity]

we have Avast - it's a free download for private users and it's been really good. Nortons used to play havoc with our PC. would workd for a while then we'd need to reformat. Also used VET (I believe it's an Aussie programme)for a while - that was good but we had to pay again and it got expensive. For now Avast seems to be doing the job and doing it well. [Bunny2]

I have kaspersky internet security 6.0.Owner of one internet cafe shop recommend this to me and i tried it as of now I feel content with my anti virus. [john2001]

I use many kind of anti virus. First I use norton, avg, avast and now Kaspersky. [m_5ugar]

currently i am using avg free antivirus system. Earlier i had mcafee but it expired and decided to dicontinuea and rely on avg. [limcyjain]

Beside that, Avg free edition is quiet enough for us if we have already a firewall and anti spyware... U also could upgrade your avg into pro edition.. And actually, there isn't the best anti virus, every anti virus have weakness.. Happy mylotting all.... God bless you..^^....... [joserinfans]

I have Symantec Endpoint Protection V11.0.1000.1375-DVT installed on my computer. It is registered and freeware Anti-Virus from Symantec which does not need buying. It is protecting my computer for one year now and I never have faced any problem ever since it installed on my computer. [ashar123]

sadI am planning to use avg, but since it won't work on the latest version, i decided to use anti-vir protection. and it's cool [LetranKnight25]

I have the McAfee Security Center one that came along already installed in my laptop. I don't know how good it is but it helps in scan for virus every once in awhile and my laptop is doing pretty okay [animegirl334]

i use avira before that nod32 [jkshan]

NO ANTI-VIRUS AT ALL. That is the most wise move according to me. I employ linux [ubuntu] OS for this purpose . My system is never prone to these things. I plug in pen drives or other external storage media through ubuntu. As these virus things are designed to work on windows, they just don't get into my system through ubuntu! so my system is so safe and fast! anti-virus sucks!!!1 [almightyonline]
