i do prefer laptops becuase being portable they could be handeled any where & nay how & now a days because of wi-fi the usage of laptops has been increased.

both a re good for other purposes if we use at home then desktop is very good but if we are executive persons and we have to go many places with our representations then the laptop is good [ankushmahajan1]
If I had to go by convinience alone I would go with a laptop. Just because its portable and you can take it anywhere you go and can access internet anywhere. But if I looked on the technical side I had a laptop and had nothing but problems with it. Granted I run into problems with my desk top but my laptop did not want to work properly 90 percent of the time. So I would have to say a desktop. [marcialoyd]
A desktop computer is ok but I prefer laptop because I can carry anywhere cos its not heavy unlike the desktop. [suladsmitch]
