Is it possible to use your computer without a mouse? How many of you can use your computer without the use of your mouse? I can do it sometimes. How many of you can operate the computer without always using your mouse...reply

i tried it. There is a key near the right Ctrl which has some of the properties of the mouse we use. I cannot do it while using internet.. but in using things like microsoft word i can do mostly without mouse. [prodigio_05]

yes i can. by short cut keys.. its easy anyways all you need is Alt, Tab and Ctrl and other keyboard keys ofcourse.. [macubx]

If the mouse was inoperative I could use the computer until I got around to buying a new mouse, but it is far less effective with a keyboard alone. It is fine navigating around the Windows desktop and menus, but the problem comes when you want to use programs like Excel or Word. Using Tab and Alt will only give you access to the upper toolbar and not the several toolbars below it which I use regularly. [Asylum]
I can do a lot without the mouse, but if the mouse broke I'd probably have to ask my partner how to do a few things, but between us I think we can do just about everything without. [RieRie]
