Do you enjoy playing old computer games?I especially like playing old adventures like the Monkey Island or Simon the Sorcerer series. With regard to this i found in ScummVM (a virtual machine for Scumm based and similar games) the perfect software to get those old games working.
Another good software i found is DosBox, an emulator of the DOS system which is capable of running a lot of old games with good compatibility (and at the right speed:P).
With that, now i can finally play Settlers and Transport Tycoon on modern systems.

I like to play tetris, over and over again, but it is difficult to find a nice one. I tried more than hundreds of tetris games the last months. And some years ago I played a game, called " hot spot". I liked it very much but I cannot find this game anymore on the internet. Maybe someone knows??? It was a kind of board game. [costello]

i love lucasfilm games... i play to them since 16 years and i don't get bored of them! they're great and very funny... i like a lot Monkey Island I and II the greatest thing is to play them on new systems with scummvm, every SO is supported by its developer team! [Albone]

No, they aren't. But perhaps some of the games mentioned are abandonware (games no longer supported by developers) and you can downlad them somewhere. By the way...all the LucasArts adventures and AOE are NOT abandon [Sportello]

I rarely bother with computer games, whether they are old or new ones. I also have a great reluctance to installing emulators in my system in order to support the older arcade type games. A few of my friends are quite addicted to this type of software, and some have collections of hundreds of different games. I cannot imagine how they would ever get the time to play them all. [Asylum]

I love old computer games, i've trying to find "threshold" in the internet but of no success. I was playing this game during the 80's but unfortunately i could'nt find it. I have pretty much the entire early history of the VR games starting well before Wolfenstien 3D. And it's still possible to run them with W98 & W2K, but it's sure nice to know that there are people out there workng to make sure that DOS never realy comletely dies! [dodoguy]

I enjoy playing on the old computers. In my beginnings of the computers i used to have an HC computer. Ohh it was so complicated to use it, i remember the fist game i received from my father, what a pleasant surprise was for me at that age. It was a ninja game with more heroes i had played it continuosly for 1 month i was charmed by it. After a short period of time he buyed me SEGA, don't know if you know it but that sega came with some disks. This was my principal source of gaming until some time ago when i bought the pc.
