Of course, i do.Most of the people who are not in IT/ITES spend less time in front of computer or internet..Being an IT consultant, i spend close to 10-12 hours a day in front of the computer.Weekends, it could be a bit less or more depending on how much time i spend outdoors.And most of these times, the internet would be there.Internet is needed for me, as its sort of bread and butter along with the computer for my profession.I am not addicted to internet or computer, as i was ok to be without the computer and internet in my vacations.But then being in IT world, makes us wired most of the time to the computer world.Well,most of the times, i miss being in front of the internet and computer when i am on vacation.And the longest time i spend in front of computer was 24 hours, which was due to work related issues.Well,with money earning online opportunities like mylot and things, i am pretty sure i am getting glued more these days.For most of we professional, our world revolves around the computer and internet.And changes or advances affects us.Well,there are pros and cons in that aspect.I use anti-glare glasses to make sure my long hours in front of computer does not affect the eyes.Well,i do take breaks in between the hours to relax and rejunevate at office.its not easy to be an IT professional.Thanks! Hi Asoka, it is no wonder you have to spend 10-12 hrs in front of a PC as an IT pro. Nowadays, even others like me who got the taste of the usefulness of this miraculous gadget tend to spend like number of hours if they are not engaged otherwise. I became familiar and fascinated with computers at a very late age. I spend 2 to 3 hours on ptcs and almost equal number of hours on internet updating on the news and knowledge and of course mylotting. I also while away playing some games (not the hi-tech ones) at times for relaxation. If I am not moving out on errands I spend my time on my laptop except for few hours of daily routine, sleep and a few TV serials. That makes easily 10 hours. Isn't it. [hanuma34]
