I don't know for USA but in my country the people who give me the phone have a web site where you can send 150 sms per day for free. You need to check that with google write free sms to and the company where is your firend phone is for example free sms to verizon. The other think is there is a programs for free sms who have allredy known the sites for the companyes and you just need to click sms to verizon write the sms and send it in that way you don't need to worry for web sites. Somethimes the programs are saying you need to sing up in that site so you can send sms to that company and you need to do it. Try Chikka Messenger from Indiatimes. U can send upto 15 messages in a day. This is from US to India..I'm not sure if its the same within India. You can try it though and see if it helps. [greengal]
