More and more younger generation is getting addicted to computer games these day's as we all know, isn't it?
Don't you think that kids playing computer games like counter strike, mortal combat etc make them attracted to violence criminal activities and grow more agressive in nature....!
Don't you think so? .........Share your views here

Sure youīre right, iīm 37 now and i didnīt have a game console in my youth, we were all day outside playing with friends. I have a Xbox now since to years and sure i enjoy playing games, well good games, i donīt play brutal rubbish were you just have to shoot as fast as you can and blood is all over the place. I mostly prefer adventure games like Myst or some like to it. Sure i also play shooter games too but not for the dum ones. The fact is that the really young ones are more interested in playing these shooters games rather then playing something at their right age, like jump & runs or so. But it depends also on youīre education and personality to be violent or criminal itīs not just the games fault. In all cases i wouldnīt let my children play these specific games weīre talking about thatīs for sure, well if i had kids. [Lewah69]
Yes right, the funny thing is that they donīt really enjoy, they have no patience. The son from my younger brother comes sometimes to our place and the first thing when he comes in is he wantīs to play Xbox (heīs mum already bought him a PS2). So mostly i say you can play later and so we draw then a little, he likes drawing and i allways say to him keep it up. I was really good at drawing as a child, and he likes watching the pictures i made and asks on every one "did you draw it"... lol, iīm glad i kept these pictures some are over 30 years old. Heīs a smart boy sometimes i feel little sad for him since his parents are seperated. Well i let him play then a little after a while and only 5 minutes later he wants a other game to play and so on and so on, so i tell him that heīs not really enjoying and i shot it off, end of the story.... bye have a nice day ..Mike [Lewah69]
Yes computer games are having a bad effect on both the physical and the mental health of the younger generation. We all as a kids used to play out of the house so very much and that too with so many friends; out door games not only give a lot of physical exercise to children, but also give children their first lessons on social interaction. These days' only things that kids do is play video games or watch TV, both are bad for them physically, they end up having pot bellies at a very young age. More importantly they have a bad effect on their mental health, they don't pick up enough social skills, they become more aggressive OH! I can go on like this for ever... point is video games are bad news for kids. [anonvenu]
Yes....i agree with your views compleltely. You have come up waith really nice views here which is worth reading for many people here.Nowaday's, you can see a lot of small kids being introduced to these computer games and it might result in bad effect among them isn't it? i really feel sad for the whole system and as you said, how nice it would be if kids do get engaged to outdoor games where they even get nice physical exercise...but, times are changing and this trend among small children is very bad and i am just thinking whether everyone can think of putting some control on all these....is it possible in any way? Anyway's, thanks for responding [alienstar]
yes, could be... but these days promote violence everywhere, on tv, on the street, and even in familys... [aisebastian]
Yeah...this is also true.Media itself is promoting violence everywhere by giving extra coverage and all isn't it? but, don't you think small kids getting exposed to computer games like this and getting aggressive is bad trend going on in this time and can't we think of something to put some break on all these things.... Anyway's, thanks for respoding [alienstar]
hey! taht is true ... i've seen it on my litle brother . since he's been playing counter-strke he's more agressive with me and my mother he learned to talk "bad" and so i've deleted the game ! and now he only playes interractive and intelectual games! i can alreeady se the diference! [aurelian125]
Yes.I really get wild sometimes as some kids show agressiveness because of all these computer games which were not there before and if only we could plan out some strategy so that it will be helpfull for all the kids around, how nice it would be...isn't it? It's nice that you have succeeded in putting some control on this , but can you think of some strategy where everybody gets together to control this before it gets out of control.... Anyway's, thanks for respoding [alienstar]
Yes they r going to aggressive. [devi18]
Hm....so, you too agree that over exposure to computer games will turn children little bit more aggressive isn't it? we all should think on some steps in controling this...don't you think so? otherwise, it might be too late also....what do you say here? Anyway's, thanks for responding [alienstar]
It depends on what type of games you play.I've been gaming for over 7 years now and I feel if you play more of strategy games(like Age of Empires)or Fifa then it won't have a negative effect but a positive effect. [VINAYBAR]
Definitely it depends on what kind of games they play but as you can by yourself most of the younger generation are getting attracted to more of shooting games and the way they are enjoying by killing someone in those games makes us worry...don't you think so? as you said, it's nice if children do get attracted to startegy games as you said but teher are more into killing games.... Anyway's, thanks for responding [alienstar]
