When my computer started popping up all kinds of stuff, I changed my OS to linux. It is the best. Unwanted things never pop up anymore. It's great. No junk mail either. It is all deleted before it gets to me. That's it! [HerShe]

don't use any free anti-virus programs, they are garbage. Good programs are the ones you have to pay for, use one of those and have the pop up blocker activated. [tonythetiger1117]

id recommend usin firefox over IE in da first place...do a regular scan with a software like spybot S&D or adaware.both are free.but they are gud. Adaware is one of the softwares included in da famed google pack..so no doubt there...switch to firefix as soon as possible.trust me its worth it [golden_unicorn]

the first solution I would like to suggest is switch to mozilla firefox browser.... it has a inbuilt program which can block pop ups... if u don't want to change ur browser then the second solution is installing a adware program which also works fine in preventing pop ups ..... [infogan234]
