You need to go clean up your computer with any software you are no longer using. Go to My computer, add/remove programs, only remove the ones you have installed that you no longer use. What kind of computer do you have? brand, ram, harddisk, windows OS? Also remove what ever the the blue screen is telling you to and then you can re-install it later if it is something you need. [wmg2006]
my computer is celeron2.53ghz,and ram is 256mb (ddr),windows-xp(sp-2). i swa when my ups is non active this prblm no longer lasting.anyway thanx for ur comments. [raj9433327675]
There may be three posibilities due to that you *MIGHT* be facing problem.. 1)First of all check your Mobo means give it to the vendoe from you bought it and ask them to have a ckeck on that.. 2)Get a new RAM from your friend and check your system . 3)replace your hard drive with your friend's and carry a check on the system.. It any one is faulty we will get the result but all them work fine..there is else which is malfunctioning.Call a good computer engineer and tell him the problems.. [shyam4uall]
Thanx for ur comments.i will format my machine.then see what happens. [raj9433327675]
Start your computer in safe mode, check your event viewer by running eventvwr.exe on the run command, find the faulty device/hardware you installed that cause the blue screen then remove that application, once you removed the application restart your computer and boot on normal mode, this should help you. [mwenceslao]
When you restart your computer the moment it loads up the bios try to press F8, this will take you to the Safe Mode options then follow from there. I would suggest also to create backup of your important files just in case. [mwenceslao]
Hi friend i think you have installed faulty version xp so,go and check your software and also format your computer. And try if there any virus attack to your pc.Then remove the virus by using good antivirus software.I prefer mcafee be the best one.And now install a genuine xp to your pc.If the problem continues then go for a good hardware techician. [sundeepm474]

See and Mark the faulty program. Back up data before a process. You should update your windows automatically and regularly. There is a virus deleting a part of the software. Reformat C: and reinstall is the last solution. [phon4u]

A couple of quick InfoHQ Axioms on Computer Problems: 1. Most crashing problems are caused by software errors. If you computer operated normally for awhile, and then started crashing, chances are good you have a software problem. 2. You have a pretty good chance of having a hardware problem if: a. Your computer is in a bad environment (excess heat/moisture or is near other electronic components that cause magnetic interference e.g. unshielded stereo speakers, machinery, older TVs, etc.) b. You unplug and plug accessories into your computer without first shutting off the power to your computer. This has a high likelihood of causing a short to your system as you could be charged with static electrically. c. You have been working inside your computer. Chances are something is connected wrong or you inadvertently knocked a cable loose. d. You do not use surge protectors or UPS to protect your computer from unusual electrical events e.g. storms, power surges, outages etc. Note: While it is possible for a hardware error to cause software errors, it is very unusual for software problems to cause unrepairable hardware problems. A few quick cautions before we continue: 1. Our Advice * If you are unsure on how to perform the procedures in this article, we suggest you enlist a competent friend or find a reliable computer repair shop. We suggest you read all the articles in this section that seem related to your problem. Many different ideas and solutions are presented in each topic. We do not assume any liability for what you do, or not do, as a result of articles on this page.* 2. * Caution: Working Inside Your Computer* Many of the procedures described below if not performed correctly, can cause additional problems or short your computer. All power should be turned off prior to opening a computer's case, to avoid the possibility of electrical shock hazards. You should be grounded whenever you are working inside a computer or you may short out your motherboard or other computer components. Grounding is ideally accomplished with a grounding wrist strap or a less preferred method is to touch your metal computer case before touching anything inside the case. Usually when we have this problem it is problem with RAM. If you don't have important data or information then it is better to reinstall the OS first and then if it doesn't work you can troubleshoot and check the RAM. [ponangabhi]

There may be some spyware running hidden or may be some virus residing in memory. Best option for you to format the system and re-install the software. [smartbrain69]
remove any last installed hardware, if compuetr shows that problem after removing hardware, then i suggest you to try antivirus. More over if the problem remains unchanged, format your hard disk and get out of that problem, so simple [faisal86]
take water in the glass. then take a brush(atleast 3centimeter broad). then take your system in sunlight. open all parts then pour the water in all parts and start brushing them. then take water in bucket, dip all parts completely in the water(wash them thoroughly). thats it n done. dont let them dry. quickly assemble and plug into power. thats it done! all problems solved... guaranteed! jokes apart-1. try formatting n installing fresh os 2. issue with the ram 3. issue with the hard disk... still not done? then contact a professional. best luck.. :-) [alive_virus]

I suggest you re-install your operating system, windows in this case (blue screen?). format your drive that contains the operating system (usually C, don't forget to backup any data you have on the drive), then reinstall your OS and your computer will be fresh again.. [jimotman]
blue screen error is nowhere related to software or operating system. its a hardware error please check your RAM if its correctly in place or some other connections. and don't need to format or reinstall your OS.If u can handle hardware connections then do it your self or call some hardware guy to check for you.most probably you wouldn't need to spend any money because it may just that your RAM stick got loose from slots. if u wanna do it your self then try removing it then put it back safely if doesn't work try with some other RAM. [noobie]
thanx.i think so.bu here somebdy said for formatting.i had a prblm with display.this time ram was not touching slot properly.i fixed that. [raj9433327675]

i think you should better formal the whole c and if you have d drives and then install the original windows xp cd. Also you can try to get your recovery Cd and install windows dfrom there. i had the same problem and still have it. i formatted 2 times and it doesnt happend to me very often. or in other case the problem might be that you may have installed a program with viruses. try to buy or download from safe place like download.com or microsoft's website. [tigran00]
This is heppening because your computer has Virues use some Anti Virus and scan you pc if you find the problem again then it means that your windows has been corroupted .. re-install it and then try if you find the same problem again then it can be you Hardisk problem.. M sure ! [ateebansari]
