Your computer is infected with something. Do you have a fire wall in place and good quaility antivirus software? Better get some if you dont. In the mean time go to www.trendmicro.com for a free scan and removal [Trixy99]
Nothing better than Trend micro for online scans! I'm about due for mine too. [Lackingstyle]

Defrag the system, at most it should be done at least once a month, it may help the boot up process: Start Menu > Accessories > system tools > Disk Defrag Uninstall any programs you don't need from the add/remove section unless you have alot of space left on the hard-drive, always useful to get rid of what you don't use though. Now this is complicated, don't do anything unless you're sure about it. Click on Start, Run and type MSCONFIG. Then, from the Startup tab, remove the tick from the programs you do not wish to start automatically. If you're unsure about an application google search it, it'll tell you what it is and what it relates to, usually if you can do without it at the start up. It generally helps having little as possible booting up when you boot the computer up. [Lackingstyle]

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it , it could be a problem with device drivers , hardware or software . This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr [pcwork]
Thanks for the URL. I will read it, and see if it helps. [famouszor]
