How many people would consider themselves to be a "computer geek?"
How many computers do you have in your house? What kind of techie gadgets do you have?

I am definitely not a computer geek. I wish I was. [Gambler2]
I was not one at first, but me and my husband fall into the category. We have 5 computers and 2 computer degrees and too many techie toys... He has always been techie savvy, I didn't have a love for computers until around 1999 when I started working for a MIS department, management information systems, for a casino. [kjhasselstrom]
I wouldn't consider myself a computer geek. I don't know a whole heck of a lot about computers. My brother on the other hand. He has two computers, and works on both of them all the time. I think he even built part of one of them. [rmuxagirl]
That's not a bad thing either... Thanks for taking the time to post :-) [kjhasselstrom]
I do not consider myself to be a computer geek we only have one machine. My ex was mr gadget he had a pda, and two computers plus a laptop and a mini disc player, a cd player and he probably went and bought an mp3 as well but if he has its since I left him. I got a bit fed up with his greed for gadgets as he got into debt. [organiclady35]
I'm a computer geek. I have four computers that I use all the time. Then I have another 5 or so that work but aren't being used. I also have a couple of broken computers. I'd say there is at least 15+ computers in my house. [mygreyparrot]
I certainly consider myself a computer geek. I have three computers in my home (one for me, one for my wife, and one for my son). I, of course, have to fix any problems with all three when they occur. I don't have a lot of techie gadgets - just a webcam and scanner. I have several websites and I spend a lot of time on the net. I prefer the label nerd though. When I met my wife, her 13-year-old sister labeled me a "nerd". But she told everyone I was a cool nerd. [muncierebel]
While I am familiar enough with my computer to be able to perform routine troubleshooting and keep it running smoothly, I wouldn't consider myself a "computer geek." Nor am I really a gadget guy, either. I still have a stereo that plays my vinyl record albums and a VCR (although I DO have a CD and DVD player too). My cell phone is also has only the most basic features since I seem to be one of the few people I know who think that phones should exist for the purpose of making phone calls and not much else. We are computer geeks in this house. Each one of my kids have their own computer and have had them since age 2. They have playstation, gameboys, tv games, pc games. I have a laptop, so does hubby. We are wireless here in our house. We have every gadget imaginable. Yes, Id say we are geeks. he he! [knowitallgurl]
Very nice to meet another geek :-) We too have wireless everywhere, two laptops, too many desktops for the kids, too much software and hardware all over... He is a graphic artist with a networking degree. I am on my way to getting my official degree, but I've worked in networking for three years and I also write. [kjhasselstrom]
