I am completeing a bachelor's degree online, I have multiple email accounts, I run onliness business ventures, and I tour nationally in rock/indie rock band that uses the web to promote, market, and do business. Not only could I, but I actually have. Mine crashed about a year ago and I had to have my brother in law put it all back together again. It was down for 3 months!!! It was complete anguish, utter agony! Both mine and my husbands went down within 2 weeks of each other. His first, then mine. I will remember the depression for the rest of my life. I not only can, but I did ~~ and somehow survived to tell the story. I don't know how such tragety came to our family but within weeks for each other both my husbands and my computers crashed. They froze and would not work any more, and I had to hunt down my brother in law and meet up with him to have him take them BOTH to his shop and fix them. It was apprx. 3 months that we had NO INTERNET CONNECTION OR COMPUTER in our home at all. It is a miracle that we survived. The trauma will always be with us, but we did survive. WE ARE SURVIVORS!!! Thank you for letting me share this horrifying experience with you all. I feel much better now....... [busybea]

Sure, I used to just use web tv and Brother Word Processors. Before that, I just used the telephone and a typewriter. I am glad to have a computer now though!:) The most important thing I use the computer for is generating lesson plans and other papers for work. The second is shopping online. I buy and sell a lot of stuff on ebay. Of course, I love email too. However, I could go back to shopping at yard sales and flea markets if I had to, and I am perfectly capable of writing letters and sending them via snail mail. [Asimk12]

That is a question that I am a little hesitant to answer. I work all day at work on the computer and also when I get home I spend another 3-5 hours on the computer.
