I like PC

It depends. I have a desktop that I built from the motherboard out that has over 800 gigs of hard drive space, 3 gigs of memory and I use it alot. However, having just had two of my photographs win laptops in the createyourcase.com competition, I now have a laptop that I use from the bedroom for my journaling and for some surfing before going to sleep. I have my graphics programs on both, my html editor on both etc, so I will be able to access my websites from anywhere I go now. I will much prefer to take my laptop along than to log onto someone else's machine or a public computer that is not set up with the browsers I like etc. (and I had an extra laptop to give my nephew this year for Christmas.) I'll be honest, I hate the mouse on the laptop. That is to say, there is none. I hate it when my finger randomly hits the pad and the mouse will go in a random place, causing me to lose my place or go to a different window. [aznshents]

Laptop computers and desktop computers both have their own strengths and weaknesses. The major strength of a laptop is mobility and it is best suited for road warriors. With a laptop computer, you can go wherever and it will be with you, giving you access to your information all the time. One drawback with a laptop though is the processing speed and power. Few laptops can compare to desktop computers with regards to speed. And not unless you carry a very long extension cord, your computing experience with a laptop is also limited to its battery capacity, which usually last for 2 to 3 hours. As for desktop computers, they are more powerful as compared to laptop computers. They have higher processors, larger hard drives, and larger memory. Screen display is also another major function. And desktop computers can always be turned on without having to consider its power requirements. As such, the only drawback I can see with desktop computers is being portable and mobile. You are limited to one location when you are using a desktop computer, probably in your home or office. Between the two, I would prefer a laptop. I don't need all the bells and whistles of a full blown computer. Just to be able to get access to my data wherever and whenever is enough for me. :) [ryanrudolf]
